out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC Johnson Service Group (JSG) is assisting our global manufacturing client in finding a Drafter for a remote, contract assignment. Responsible for utilizing CAD/Creo to create high-quality, precise drawings for power transformer designs. This person will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure drawings meet design requests.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D drawings of metal components using AutoCAD or Creo. Use advanced CAD/Creo software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Deliver high-quality drawings to support the engineering team. Understand and apply manufacturing processes and material flow. Adhere to design principles and applicable standards for power transformers. Ensure compliance with safety standards and mitigate potential risks. Uphold company’s core values ??of safety and integrity. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
Your Background:
Associate degree in Drafting and Design or a related technical field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in modeling and drafting. Proficiency in CAD/Creo and 3D modeling tools. Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Already has work authorization to work for any company in the United States.
