Interior Designer Drafter AG Designs 1870 58th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11204 Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with clients to develop innovative design solutions that meet their needs and enhance their environments. This role requires proficiency in various design software and the ability to manage projects from concept through execution. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects. Develop and present design concepts using Adobe Creative Suite, including drafting layouts and 3D renderings with Rhinoceros 3D. Create detailed design plans that incorporate lighting design, furniture selection, color schemes, and materials. Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the design process. Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather necessary measurements for accurate planning. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide clients with innovative solutions. Assist in sales efforts by presenting designs to potential clients and contributing to lighting sales initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Rhinoceros 3D is essential. Strong knowledge of interior design principles, including lighting design and space planning. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with clients and team members. Previous experience in sales or lighting sales is a plus but not mandatory. A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required for consideration.
