CAD Drafter 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 35 DeBevoise Avenue, Roosevelt, NY 11575 Description This position is a unique opportunity to be a member of a fast paced, highly skilled, collaborative Design/Mechanical Engineering team. This position actively participates in the design, CAD Drafting, development of files required to prototype and manufacture all Parabit manufactured products.

Job Tasks:

Create custom mechanical CAD components. Update existing mechanical CAD drawings manufacturing engineering. Create components for our 3D modeling design tool library referencing manufacturer’s specification using Solidworks. Use logic, mathematics, reasoning, experimentation, analysis tools, physics, calculus, and written communication skills to analyze and solve complex mechanical designs. Remain current on leading-edge CAD technology, new materials, manufacturing processes and their potential application to our manufacturing facility. Maintain file creation and versioning storage specifications. Document all daily actions by completing, maintaining and submitting time logs by project. Research best materials and design approaches for the development of parts/assemblies developed and drafted. Develop part/product renderings. Use company standard K factors while creating accurate solid models. Create computer operated machine cutting files.

Requirement Qualifications:

Five (5) Years’ experience Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering Excellent collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Capable of performing with a sense of urgency and occasionally changing to a project with increased priority. Two (2) Years’ experience with the creation of CAD Drawings for sheet metal fabrication
