Qualifications and responsibilities for this Security CAD Designer position include: 5+ years of professional CAD drafting/design experience in engineering, electrical, or security systems Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit, Civil 3D, or SolidWorks experience is a plus Create and manage accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and documentation for construction and engineering projects Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to confirm measurements and ensure drawing accuracy Interpret technical sketches, data, and specs to deliver compliant, high-quality design documents Ensure adherence to project guidelines, codes, and industry standards throughout the design process Assist with material take-offs, technical specifications, and participate in design review meetings Prior experience in fire alarm, security, or electrical design strongly preferred
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00
PM Salary:
$65,000 – $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, a 3% IRA match after one year, 1 week of PTO after six months (2 weeks after one year, 3 weeks after five years), 5 sick days, and 2 personal days.
