The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed drawings and plans. This position requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of architectural principles. The Architectural Drafter will collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure that all designs meet project specifications and standards. Duties Create detailed architectural drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications. Assist in the preparation of schematics and construction documents for various building projects. Collaborate with project teams to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to designs. Participate in design reviews and contribute creative solutions to enhance project outcomes. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCAD, Revit, and is essential. Experience with graphic design principles and tools is a plus. Strong understanding of architectural schematics and the ability to build detailed models. Knowledge of NYC Building and Zoning Codes. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly to team members and stakeholders.
