CAD CAM III
– Implants. The regular hours for this position are from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, and subject to change from time to time. Position:
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
Preliminary:
Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique. Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship. Implant:
Prepare for articulation. Set bites. Insert implant copings. Soft tissue. Cement screw retained cases. Seat custom abutments in soft tissue model and make adjustments as necessary. OTHER DUTIES OF JOB
Communicate with Laboratory Manager and Production Manager on a daily basis. Perform other related duties as required.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have basic computer skills. Excellent hand eye coordination. Display attention to detail. Time management skills required for production environment. Display problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Five to ten years related experience/training in preliminary, CAD/CAM, crown & bridge, and implant related dental laboratory production. CDT or equivalent preferred. PTC certification in SPA and SAA as a minimum standard.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Hand-pieces. Steamers Accelerator Glue Sharp Tools. Bench Lathe.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach. Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions. Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation. Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
