  • Middletown, PA Our client, who has been servicing all branches of the U.

S. Military for over 40 years, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. Renowned for their adherence to reliability and environmental standards across industries, particularly in aerospace, this employee-owned company stands out for its commitment to excellence. The CAD Designer will assist the engineering team with creating technical drawings, managing design documentation, supporting part and fixture design, and contributing to CAD and PCB libraries.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineers to develop and prepare accurate 2D detail and assembly drawings using AutoCAD Inventor from existing 3D models. Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings, design files, and revisions, in compliance with internal document control procedures. Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes by ensuring timely updates to technical documents and revision history. Assist in the creation, organization, and maintenance of Bills of Material (BOM) and accurate entry of part information into the company database. Contribute to the conceptualization and design of mechanical fixtures to support manufacturing, testing, or assembly processes. Participate in the creation of electronic components and schematic symbols in Altium Designer (training provided). Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of design data. Follow established CAD standards and best practices to ensure high-quality design output and documentation integrity.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in CAD or a 2-year degree in mechanical design Familiarity with or interest in ASME Y14.100M and

ASME Y14.5

standards Strong communication skills for working with teams and customers Basic math skills including decimals and fractions; knowledge of circuit theory a plus
