Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in CADD or two years’ experience in Drafting & Design. Experience with Autodesk Inventor Software. Experience with taking a project from start to finish

Job Description:

This position involves creating a 3-D Model in Autodesk Inventor as well as 2-D Shop Drawings based on the 3-D model. This position involves preparing a Bill of Materials and fabrication notes for the shop floor. This position also involves working with customers, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, General Contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to prepare and modify drawings to receive final approval for fabrication. The ability to correctly understand a customer’s needs and goals and incorporate those into a finished design is necessary to be successful in this position.
