Job Summary:

We’re looking for a CAD Drafter to help create detailed drawings for utility construction projects. If you’re comfortable using AutoCAD (or similar software) and enjoy turning engineering ideas into clear, usable plans, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do:

Use CAD software to create and edit drawings for construction projects. Work with engineers and project managers to bring designs to life. Draft layouts for underground and overhead utility lines. Visit job sites to take measurements and collect data. Make sure drawings follow project requirements and industry standards. Update plans when changes are needed and create final “as-built” drawings when projects are done. Help improve designs to make projects more efficient. Communicate with team members to keep projects moving smoothly. Keep track of deadlines and stay organized. Qualifications Experience with CAD software like AutoCAD. Basic understanding of construction and utility design. Ability to read and create technical drawings. Some knowledge of surveying and mapping is helpful but not required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.

Full-time Pay:

$20.00 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
