Mechanical Designer Job Description The Mechanical Designer will provide layout drawings and technical assistance for various concrete formwork systems. This role involves CAD Drafting with a focus on understanding the technical aspects of each system. Responsibilities Create layout drawings and provide technical assistance for concrete formwork systems. Utilize CAD drafting to design and document various systems. Interpret and work from blueprints, design plans, and shop drawings. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD – Autodesk 2018 or newer. 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design plans, and shop drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge in mechanical engineering. Experience in construction and concrete formwork systems. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends or overtime required. The start time is flexible between 6:30am and 9:00am, and the end time is between 3:30pm and 6:00pm, allowing for an 8-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch break.
