Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD/CAM Dental Designer to join our dynamic dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing complex full-arch restorations using both 3Shape and Exocad software. This role demands precision, a deep understanding of dental anatomy, and proficiency in digital workflows to produce high-quality dental prosthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and full-arch restorations using CAD software (3Shape and Exocad). Prepare digital models for milling, 3D printing, and other manufacturing processes. Collaborate with dentists, dental technicians, and lab managers to ensure proper fit, function, and aesthetics of restorations. Optimize digital designs for efficiency, accuracy, and material usage. Troubleshoot design issues to ensure high-quality output. Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and digital dental technology.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CAD/CAM dental design. Proficiency in both 3Shape and Exocad software. Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative materials. Experience with milling machines, 3D printers, scanners, and digital workflows in a dental lab setting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for aesthetics. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or degree in Dental Technology, Digital Dentistry, or a related field. Experience with CAM software for milling and 3D printing. Knowledge of different dental materials (e.g., zirconia, e.max, PMMA).
