The immediate opening is available for hire at our manufacturing plant ONLY. The ideal candidate will work closely with the production staff and learn from the best fabricators in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with experience in various software applications. This role is essential for creating detailed shop drawings and schematics that support our Architectural, Engineering and Design Build projects. The CAD Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketchup and Revit as an option. Create and modify schematics for mechanical designs and builds. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and specifications. Utilize for civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements. Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and detailed part drawings as needed. Assist in the production of 2D animations for presentations or project proposals using appropriate software. Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions. Requirements Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices. Experience in creating detailed schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with 2D animation techniques is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts to team members.
