AutoCAD Drafter/Designer 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Walterboro, SC 29488 We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and accurate technical drawings and plans using CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members to bring projects to fruition. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as MicroStation, Inventor, and Revit. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and specifications. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards throughout the drafting process. Create technical documentation, including specifications and reports, to support project development. Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration on project files. Assist in system design by providing accurate representations of mechanical components. Perform revisions of existing drawings based on feedback from team members or changes in project scope. Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness before final submission. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software, particularly MicroStation, Inventor, and Revit. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices. Experience with 2D animation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with codes and standards relevant to the industry. Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
