Job Description:

As an AutoCAD Drafter at Baird and Wilson Sheetmetal, you will play a vital role in creating and preparing detailed CAD drawings and programming Flow Waterjets for the fabrication of sheet metal products. This position combines technical drafting expertise with the application of cutting-edge waterjet technology to optimize production processes.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD. Program Flow Waterjet machines for accurate and efficient cutting operations. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and design specifications to ensure project accuracy. Collaborate with the production team to optimize designs for manufacturability. Verify dimensions, materials, and tolerances to meet project requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of drawings and programs for production. Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues related to waterjet operations.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software. Experience with Flow Waterjet programming is highly preferred. Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
