CAD Drafter Express Employment Professionals Loudon, TN 37774 CAD Drafter – $22-26/hr DOE Express Employment Professionals is hiring a CAD Drafter for a plastics manufacturer in Loudon, TN.
CAD Drafter Responsibilities:
Create detailed and accurate technical 2D drawing sets and 3D models used for proposals and production of extruded plastic parts. Maintain CAD file organization and accurately create and maintain database records required for daily production and quality control. Calibrate hand-held measuring equipment used for Design, Production, and QC. Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports and documentation essential for project management.
CAD Drafter Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or completed technical education or certification in CAD/CAM, drafting, manufacturing or mechanical engineering, or related fields is extremely advantageous • Basic understanding of drafting standards and familiar with industry standard geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Working knowledge of mathematical concepts (calculate areas using CAD, geometric relationships, calculations using Excel, drawing scales, imperial/metric measurement conversions). Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment including use of basic hand tools, power tools, and calibration equipment.
CAD Drafter Shift:
