SolidWorks Draftsperson Position Available In Lamoille, Vermont

SolidWorks Draftsperson Concept2 Morrisville, VT 05661 • Hybrid work SolidWorks Draftsperson Concept2, the market leading manufacturer of indoor rowing machines and composite racing oars, seeks an experienced draftsperson to join our engineering team. You will use SolidWorks 3-D software to detail part and product designs into component and assembly drawings to be used in sourcing and manufacturing components. In addition to drafting, you will work with the engineering staff on new product development, process improvement, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

Convert engineering models into detailed component and assembly drawings Create drawings from verbal descriptions, handwritten sketches, customer/internal specifications or brainstorming sessions Follow document control process to revise and maintain models and drawings Work with engineering staff on new product development Work with engineering and manufacturing staff on quality control documentation, testing, and inspections Work with tech support and marketing teams to document and communicate changes to products and procedures

Required Qualifications:

3+ Years of SolidWorks drafting experience creating detail drawings, models and assemblies Knowledge of drafting principles and standards Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles Overall strong mechanical inclination Ability to work in a collaborative team environment College degree Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future.
