Rates:

$40.00 – $46.00 per hour US Citizenshiprequired. Hard Hat Steel Toe Shoes Safety Glasses Ear plugs

Education:

Accredited Bachelors Degree in Chemical or MechanicalEngineering preferred, others considered.

Experience:

0-5 YearsExperience in related field. Experience with coal-fired or gaspower plant equipment and systems. Experience with power plantpollution control processes such as FGD, SCR, ESP, Fabric Filters,MATS, SO3, etc. Proficient with plant information systems/softwareand remote monitoring. Experience being responsible for severalplants and/or systems. Experience with performance monitoring andidentifying performance issues. Experience troubleshooting systemsand equipment. Experience performing site walk downs and equipmentinspections. Field work experience with OEM designers such as GE,URS, and Mitsubishi preferred. Experience with outage support,inspections and repair planning preferred.

Job responsibilities:

Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field. Strongwritten and verbal communication skills. Must have strong peopleskills and ability to be productive in a plant environment. Able tounderstand new processes and system configurations quickly. Must bean individual contributor comfortable working alone with limiteddirection. This position requires driving (excluding commute) Thisposition requires personal protective equipment This position mayrequire some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting,prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
