As Process Engineer, you continuouslyimprove the manufacturing processes to achieve superior quality,yield and efficiency. You are a valued expert and resource toOperators, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Management, andProduction Planning team members.

You will have the opportunityto:

Oversee manufacturing processes for new and existing productswith defined process controls, ensuring stability and continuousimprovement of Materion process capabilitiesFacilitate rapidresponse to Shop Floor technical issues to ensure product qualityis maintained and on scheduleCollaborate with EH&S to assuresafe processes and working conditionsApply Six Sigma/LEANmanufacturing principles to product and process development andproblem analysisAssist key customers (worldwide) with technicalissues/opportunitiesOther engineering job duties asassigned

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in MaterialsScience, Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineerpreferred2-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in atechnical manufacturing environmentExperience in metal casting,physical metallurgy processes, and degreasing of scrap materialpreferred.

Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred control chartingand statistical analysisSAP experience preferred#HPThe selection ofthe person to be hired for this position is contingent on thecandidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S.controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdictionof the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in ArmsRegulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, ExportAdministration Regulations (EAR).The candidate selected will haveto qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawfulpermanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. asan Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is notprohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via aletter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an exportlicense by the governing agency whose technology comes under itsjurisdiction.
