Job Description

Paint Process Engineering Specialist – On Site Savannah, GA TeamWRX Huntsville, AL 35808 Paint Process Engineering Specialist – Automotive Manufacturing | Savannah, GA (On-Site) | Full-Time Join a cutting-edge automotive manufacturing team as a Paint Process Engineering Specialist supporting high-volume production with a focus on quality, innovation, and operational excellence. This is a full-time, on-site role based near Savannah, Georgia , with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Do:

Set and oversee plant-level targets (units produced, quality index, hours per vehicle) and lead initiatives to meet them. Analyze production and quality data to drive improvements in output and paint performance. Lead projects to optimize paint operations, reduce costs, and implement best practices. Coordinate facility modifications and tooling prep for new vehicle programs. Manage installation and trial runs for new equipment, robotics, and automation systems. Supervise, train, and support paint team members to achieve performance goals. Drive corrective actions for quality issues during production, and report on plant KPIs. Lead cost-reduction initiatives across labor, material, and energy categories. Support cross-functional collaboration with other manufacturing areas. Develop and deliver training programs; contribute to recruitment planning. Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering (or related field) 2+ years of experience in a paint process or automotive manufacturing setting Strong data analysis and project management skills Experience with paint systems, conveyors, automation, or robotics Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) Automotive industry experience preferred Korean language fluency is a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Travel:

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
