We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, working directly on the production floor to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and drive operational excellence. A strong background in process improvement, troubleshooting, and manufacturing operations is essential for success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Develop and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Troubleshoot process issues , identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Design and refine production workflows , ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to enhance equipment performance. Conduct data analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational improvements. Support the introduction of new products and processes , ensuring seamless integration into production. Maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions . Research and implement new technologies to improve automation and efficiency. Train production personnel on best practices and process improvements .
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies . Proficiency in data analysis tools, CAD software, and process simulation software . Experience with plastics manufacturing, extrusion, or injection molding (preferred but not required). Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across departments. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field). 3+ years of experience in a process engineering role (manufacturing environment preferred). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools . Experience with data analysis and process improvement methodologies .
