Job Description

13837 – Control Systems Engineer (onsite) –

Juno Beach, FL Start Date:

12+ months with possible extensions

Work Setting:

Onsite, ability to travel domestically and internationally (<10%)

Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
  • Experience with SCADA/Controls engineering (5+ years);
  • Engineering degree or technical degree in a related technical area
Preferred:
  • Experience in Power Generation industry, with established expertise in power plant controls and renewable energy;
  • Experience developing and verifying software requirements throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Experience as Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer;
  • Master’s Degree;
  • Multilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Korean)
Responsibilities:
  • The Control Systems engineer will be able to develop controls logic, implement complex programs, create protocols for site verification, testing, troubleshooting, and certifying all control system project requirements are met;
  • Work with equipment suppliers to perform factory integration testing of new hardware designs to validate requirements;
  • Develop processes for managing common and project-specific control system requirements across a large fleet of power plants;
  • Oversee development and implementation of all control system project requirements;
  • Support commissioning team during plant turnover;
  • Work with cross functional teams and support as plant controls SME for both internal and external customers Why apply?
