Salary:
$100-140 K MUST have knowledge of caps and closures (could be compression or injection molding). Our client is seeking an expert in caps and closures. This person will ensure plant equipment operates at peak performance using their skills and knowledge. This is a great opportunity with stability and potential for growth. Come be a part of an incredible team! Position Responsibilities Design and implement manufacturing processes for plastic and metal caps and closures, ensuring high precision and quality standards. Optimize production workflows to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance sustainability. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues. Collaborate with R D to develop new closure designs and support prototyping and testing phases. Utilize CAD software to design tooling, molds, and fixtures for injection molding and assembly processes. Monitor and maintain equipment performance, including injection molding machines, automated assembly lines, and quality control systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations) and safety protocols. Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Support lean manufacturing initiatives and drive cost-reduction projects. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years experience with caps and/or closures. Experience with compression molding or injection molding. Strong technical understanding of caps and closures. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
