Control Systems Engineer (20+ YEARS) Position Available In Jefferson, Louisiana

Job Requirements Bachelor�s degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering 20+ years of experience in instrumentation and control systems engineering Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam Knowledge of applicable instrumentation and controls standards Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and DCS equipment PLC/DCS programming experience preferred, but not required Preferred Skills Ability to review and check vendor submittals, discipline drawings, and bid evaluations Competence in sizing control valves using vendor software Experience developing control narratives and instrumentation plans Strong understanding of process instrumentation and control valve specification Comfortable coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing shifting priorities Job Responsibilities Produce installation details, electric room layouts, cable schedules, control panel layouts, loop diagrams, and instrumentation plans Develop specifications and data sheets for instrumentation, analyzers, control systems, and actuated valves Review vendor submittals and evaluate bid packages Assist in developing P&IDs with instrumentation and control input Assemble scopes, drawings, and specifications into procurement packages Collaborate with team members across disciplines to ensure timely project completion
