26401 ? ? Summary Lincoln electric has an outstanding opportunityfor a Control Systems Engineer at our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters.

The Control Systems Engineer is a key member of the PlantEngineering team that implements projects and provides support forthe Consumable division of the Cleveland Operations. Control SystemEngineers are responsible for the physical machine hardware used inmanufacturing, the networks that connect them, and the softwarecontrolling them. What You Will Do Responsible for the control systemsincluding hardware design, software design, design documentation,networking, and data acquisition. Work closely with the PlantEngineering, MES, IT, Maintenance, and Production teams to supportproduction and facility projects that involve networking, PLCs,HMIs, and associated software. Collaborate with multiple Operationsteams to meet current and future continuous improvement projectgoals. Estimates time and cost for new projects. Reviews capitalequipment proposals and quotations to ensure equipment meetscompany specifications for control systems. Provides on-siteassistance troubleshooting and remediating hardware, software, andnetwork issues with Plant Engineering, Maintenance, and IT teammembers. Reduce downtime on production equipment due to issues withthe control system. Support network backup and device patchingmanagement process. Assist in management and inventory of controlsystem assets including software, servers, devices, andworkstations. Improve system and maintenance performance based onavailability and reliability. Review security vulnerabilities andrequest appropriate remediation form respective teams. Compilingdata from connected devices and making it available to the usersthroughout the organization. Develops and applies standards forcontrol systems hardware and software. Solves complex problems;takes a new perspective on existing solutions. Works independently;receives minimal guidance. May lead projects or project stepswithin a broader project or have accountability for ongoingactivities or objectives. Acts as a resource for colleagues withless experience. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned tosupport Lincoln Electric Company’s 2025 Higher Standard StrategyEducation & Experience Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor’s degreein Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years professionalexperience. Experience with automation hardware and softwareplatforms, including PLC and HMI. Experience with AutoCAD.Knowledge of

NEC, NFPA, 70E, NFPA

79, and other technical codes.

Ability to support and troubleshoot industrial equipment. Criticalthinking with exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to handlea variety of assignment and changing priorities.
