Description Burns & McDonnell is looking for an experienced Senior Process or Mechanical engineer to help us Wow our clients in the Specialty Chemical and Consumer products arena. This position is being created to further enhance our experience and capability to service clients in these areas. As an employee owner (EO) with Burns and McDonnell, we support our clients in designing and executing projects that deliver results to them and their customers. This EO will help craft the design approach on chemically based production systems for our clients while working closely with the other required disciplines to deliver a complete project package. The Senior Process Engineer will lead mechanical design project teams to create world class designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a specialty chemical and consumer product related processes. The Senior Process Engineer will lead the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting process plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs. + Lead process design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the owner company for mechanical systems. + This typically includes creation of Mass balance analysis, PFD’s, P&ID’s and General assembly drawings, Material take-offs, Equipment and construction bid packages. + Prepare process chemical specifications and data sheets, Request for Qualifications (RFQ’s), technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations. + Review equipment vendor drawings; data interface with suppliers, clients other engineering disciplines, detailers, designers. + Applies expert knowledge of commonly used process concepts, practices, codes and procedures within the process engineering services industry. + Applies knowledge and experience to To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
