Job Description
Seeking an onsite Controls Engineer for a long-term engagement focused on PLC migration and HMI development using Allen Bradley ControlLogix and Ignition.
Job Requirements:
Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs Proficiency in Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform Ability to work onsite in Columbus, MS for an expected duration of at least 2 years Availability to work first shift with a typical workload of 45 hours or less per week Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience migrating control systems from other PLC platforms (Toshiba experience not required) Familiarity with industrial automation in manufacturing environments
Job Responsibilities:
Migrate existing PLC code from Toshiba to Allen Bradley ControlLogix on active production lines Design and implement HMI and visualization solutions using Ignition Collaborate with plant personnel and engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration Support system testing, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts on site Maintain ongoing support and updates for control systems throughout the project lifecycle
