Process & Product Development Technician

out of 5 stars Concord, NC 28026 Scope of Position The Process & Product Development Technician performs a variety of technical duties, including experiment management, data collection from manufacturing processes, data analysis, and ware or equipment management. This role supports development, engineering, and operations teams to improve manufacturing yields, resolve customer issues, and develop new processes or products. Major Responsibilities Collaborate on product and process innovation, cost reduction, and continuous improvement projects. Partner with engineers to develop and execute experiments for process and product development. Support innovation initiatives aimed at enabling new products, reducing downtime/defects, and increasing yields. Operate measurement equipment and collect data to support process and product understanding. Train and mentor new personnel on equipment usage and processes. Troubleshoot processes by interpreting equipment and measurement data. Provide input to project plans including resources and timelines. Document processes, products, or equipment procedures when needed. Required Skills Strong bias for action in uncertain situations with proactive problem-solving. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams. Strong follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision. Desired Skills Experience with PI ProcessBook or PI Historian is a plus.
