We’re looking for a Senior Process Engineer in Cary, NC who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on Life Science projects in a variety of facilities including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), Fill/Finish, Single Use and similar Biopharmaceutical factories. Additionally, we maintain strong relationships with a number of clients in the industrial space that provide exciting and creative work. You’ll be accountable for the technical accuracy and quality of challenging engineering tasks, while also helping to estimate and manage project budgets and schedule as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations. In addition, you will get the opportunity to act as a Process Lead to establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets, develop P&IDs and process equipment specifications. You’ll bring to the role subject matter expertise in one or more areas of process engineering, and will use that to consult with other members of the organization around our network. Additionally, you will be mentoring junior team members to help them discover what drives them, develop their purpose and guide them forward. Here’s what you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 15+ years of experience in chemical process industries, with at least half of that experience with Life Science companies or projects
- Extensive knowledge of current GMP regulations and best practices
- Registration as Professional Engineer (PE) (or desire to obtain registration) Ideally, you’ll also have:

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to lead and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
