• Ensure HSE policies are followed
• Drives data driven control, implementing process data measurableincluding IMPC and Mattec
• Ensures processes and environment arestable and optimises delivering predictable results
• Participatesin new product/process tool validation and process developmentlaunches

Main Responsibilities Process:

• Implement mouldingstandards and exchanges within moulding networks best practices
• Controls and optimizes process parameters.
• Stabilizes andoptimizes moulding area performance (material consumption, scrapsreduction).
• Reduces moulding changes overtime and deploy SMED
• Tests and validates technical solutions (OPTIPRO and OPTICHANGEprojects, changes in the plant, equipment supplier).
• Analysesprocess failures.
• Supports new projects launches in line iwthOPTIMAP requirements.
• Participates in continuous improvementactivities and productivity covering all process areas
• cycletimes, scrap, downtime, machine/toold and energy.
• Participates ininjection assessment.
• Develops the injection processes and systemsensuring a framework that will achieve world class standards ofquality and service to the customer and to achieve environmentlacompliance.
• Own the technical integrity of injection (e.g. Mattec)database and support introduction plans into plant Injection area
• Designs and justify new improvements and equipment to reducedowntime and increase productivity.

Team Development:

• Establisheseffective communication channels with the team and its people so asto realize their knowledge and full potential and to make sure thatthey are working to the same common business goals.
• May train andcoach injection technicians and operators.

Quaity/CIP:

• Own theinjection process FMEA and makes sure that standardized workpractices are being used.
• Continually develops/drives theInjection Tech team and setters to deliver best in class processesand standards.
• Ensures quality standards are maintained by theInjection Tech team.
• Works with other departments to support andsolve joint problems
• paint, assembly.

Others:

• May program robotsor lead injection robot programmers.
• Actively represents the plantin injection networks.
• Put in place effectice visual management
• Participates in injection technicians/setters recruitment toassess technical abilities. Qualifications/Knowledge
• EngineeringDegree level education or equivalent by experience
• Chemical/Plastics technology engineer would be a plus.
• Extensiveknowledge and understanding of injecion processes and systems
• Good command of English.
• 4-7 years of experience; field ofexperience: industry, production or engineering of large productionequipment managment; injection plastics parts; large manufacturingenvironment, with a proven background to problem-solving;deployment of industrial standards and best practices; leanapplication to products, processes and flows; extensive experienceof moulding plastic parts; equipment mangement; process managementand control.
• Previous experience in Robots programming will be aplus.
• Computer skills
