Birmingham, AL Reports to: Project Lead About Creature Creature is an integrated building platform purpose-built to eliminate friction in design and construction. We combine architecture, modular manufacturing, field execution, and specialty trades under one roof to deliver capital projects faster and with greater quality. Our mission is to seamlessly improve the lives of our employees and customers. Role Overview As a Design Associate at Creature, you’ll help transform concepts into executable design solutions. Reporting to the Project Lead, you’ll support projects through modeling, drafting, and research—bringing clarity, precision, and accountability to every phase of the design process. This role is foundational to our design team’s ability to communicate solutions clearly and coordinate seamlessly with Precon, PM, and Field teams. What You’ll Do Execute architectural deliverables under the direction of the Project Lead Visualize design solutions using Revit, AutoCAD, and modeling/rendering tools Track individual time against client-level budgets Research codes, materials, and technical details to support constructability Ensure design information is clear, complete, and checked for accuracy Translate design direction into construction-ready documentation Collaborate across functions to identify, document, and resolve design gaps Support integrated workflows across modular, prefab, and traditional construction types What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Architecture or related design discipline 0-3 years of professional experience.
