Job Description:
Lead Civil Designer – Public Infrastructure Our Middletown, CT office has an immediate opening for a mid-level or senior Civil Engineer responsible for Civil/Site/Roadway/Highway design, review, and contract administration. This role has the opportunity to grow into an AVP role. Duties include, but not limited to: Preparation and review of and response to Construction Documents including plans, specifications and estimates Design of roadway/highways, stormwater sanitary systems, and large scale public infrastructure Site design including: Layout, grading, soil erosion, and stormwater management Utility system modeling Overseeing/reviewing the work of drafters and junior engineers Frequent interaction with clients, consultants and regulatory agencies and reviewing engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil Engineering PE License Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in roadway/highway, utility, sewer, water, and stormwater design Proven record of working on complex public/private projects Experience working with CTDOT Well versed in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Utility Modeling Software Strong communication, client interaction, and teamwork skills are essential Excellent compensation/benefits and flexible work environment.
