Based in Jacksonville, we are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing various civil engineering projects, focusing on site development and infrastructure design to meet client needs and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop civil design plans and specifications for site development projects.
Perform grading design and stormwater management calculations.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project goals are met.
Prepare construction documentation, including drawings and reports.
Utilize Civil 3D and AutoCAD for modeling and design purposes.
Conduct land surveying and site planning activities as required.
Incorporate environmental engineering principles into design solutions.
Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in Civil 3D and other design software – AutoCAD.
Experience in site development, grading design, and stormwater management.
Knowledge of infrastructure design and land surveying practices.
Familiarity with environmental engineering concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
