We have an exciting opportunity to join our Water/Wastewater team in Pensacola.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE
- Provides technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects as part of a project team.
- Prepares design computations and assessments.
- Produces design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.
- Reports directly to the Project Manager or Project Engineer leading the design.
- Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
- Prepare quantities for cost estimating.
- Engage in comprehensive communication and coordination with the Project Manager and design team regarding design issues and project-related calculations.
- Communicate and coordinate with Project Manager and design team on design issues and calculations relating to a project.
- Stays current with Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years of experience in CAD drafting.
- Experience with design of land development and public infrastructure projects required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and capable of learning other design software programs as required.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills.
- Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from PM and coordinate efforts with design team.
- Strong writing and verbal skills; Able to complete work consistently, with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands put on them by PMs.
- May or may not require a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

- FL residency preferred.
