$60.4K – $76.8K a year 17 hours ago Qualifications School experience MicroStation CAD Microsoft Office Land surveying Trade school Senior level Drafting Communication skills 10 years Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with engineers and clients to create utility relocation plans, roadway plan & profiles, sidewalk design, concept plans, signing and pavement marking plans, and record drawings using computer aided drafting and design (CADD), primarily in Microstation Draft, edit, and finalize drawing packages conforming to good design practices Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, and quality Organize/maintain all project drawing revisions and project-related information Work on numerous tasks of multiple projects; the tasks are complex and require innovative, original solutions Work with other disciplines to provide best design solutions for clients Work with project engineers and other designers to revise plans according to markups and design revisions Oversee and mentor engineering technicians Requirements 10 years of full-time experience performing CADD design work Strong knowledge of MicroStation ORD in a design capacity Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience using/incorporating land or aerial surveying/mapping data files Experience using MicroStation Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Certificate in drafting/design or Civil Engineering Technology from a technical school is preferred
