The World Equestrian Center is seeking a high-energy, talented, experienced Designer to join our growing team of professionals at the largest equestrian complex in the United States. We are looking for a Designer who will bring fresh perspectives and give positive impact through design. You will be working as a team member to design large custom homes up to 25,000 sq. ft., five-star hotels, large retail spaces, and restaurants. You will be asked to manage projects and collaborate with internal and external teams and partners to ensure design integrity and satisfaction. Successful candidates will meet our minimum requirements and have strong design creative and technical skills, excellent communication skills, be organized and take initiative in helping influence design decisions.

Job requirements include:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an interior design or architectural environment Holds a degree in architecture, interior design, interior architecture, or related field Work on projects through all phases of design Work with Senior Designers as part of the Design Team Ability to coordinate with project construction teams Manage multiple jobs at one time Procurement, purchasing and order tracking Proficiency using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Client, Vendor & supplier liaison Assist in Installation & onsite FF&E delivery Comprehensive knowledge in drafting interior design drawing packages including finish plans and material specification, schedules, RCP, and electrical plans Prepare and maintain project files, correspondence, drawings, etc. Create and continually update spec sheets as needed Excellent eye for detail Strong communication and presentation skills Problem solving skills Working successfully to strict deadlines Balance of design creativity and technical proficiency.
