Civil Engineer – Water/Wastewater Planning & Design BND Engineers, Inc. Miami, FL 33134

Position Summary:

The Civil Engineer is responsible for the planning and design of state and municipal civil projects with an emphasis in water/sewer pipeline design and site/ grading design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Developing detailed designs Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections Preparing and implementing project plans Researching and providing estimates for projects Reviewing government regulations and ordinances Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in in Civil Engineering or closely related field required Minimum of 1 years’ experience Familiarity AutoCAD Civil 3D pipe networks/grading is preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skills in management, leadership, the ability to manage projects and develop business with both current and new clients, team building & marketing a plus Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills Demonstrated proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation Working knowledge of personal computers and

Microsoft Office Suite/SharePoint Physical Demands:
