Staff Engineer:

Leading land development firm Poulos & Bennett is actively seeking a Staff Engineer for immediate employment in their Orlando, Florida office. This position provides a unique opportunity to join an established, well-respected, and growing Land Planning, Civil Engineering, and Construction Management firm with a variety and diverse range of projects. Our teams develop solutions to policy and design challenges and focus on providing our Clients with the highest quality services and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

Prepare engineering design calculations and construction plans to directly support residential, commercial, and roadway developments including site grading, stormwater, utility design, as well as prepare written drainage and utility reports Code, entitlements, and general due diligence research Prepare plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3

D Skills and Abilities:

Highly organized Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Detail oriented Ability to work well in a team environment Must be solution oriented Self-motivated Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Qualifications:

4 or more years of Civil Engineering experience Experience with ICPR, WaterCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D Understanding of stormwater, utility design and land development Understanding of permitting process, codes, and criteria Experience preparing construction plans and reports Experience in Florida preferred BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering Authorized to work in the
