Architect Private General Contractor Palm Beach, FL 33480 Job Summary Residential General Contractor (with an Architectural firm sister company) specializing in highly customized construction is seeking an addition to its staff of Licensed Architects. Prior experience or interest in the luxury custom construction market will advance the candidate to an interview. Only polished individuals with excellent credentials will be considered. The General Contractor has been in business for 31 years and maintains offices New York City and Palm Beach, Florida. Candidates will be working in a fast-paced boutique environment and interface directly with the Principals. Candidates should understand that nothing is more important to the employer than providing the highest level of customer service. Work will be performed on all phases of projects depending on office needs, from initial concept through final completion. Candidates will be working in a collaborative, friendly atmosphere with talented and licensed professionals. This is a tremendous opportunity for growth for candidates who work well with others. Projects vary from highly detailed interior renovations to large-scale new ground-up construction.

Duties / Skills

Candidates should be passionate about quality detailing (traditional as well as contemporary/modern) Have a strong desire to be involved on construction sites and with construction management including budget development and compliance, interaction with other consultants including MEP, Civil and Structural. Candidates will be required to coordinate with design consultants and subcontractors Degree in Architecture

• Licensed preferred Develop spreadsheets (budgetary, architectural schedules, project timelines, etc.) AutoCAD, (BIM is not required but sometimes used) Adobe Creative Suite
• Photoshop, InDesign Bluebeam Microsoft suite
• Word, Excel Good understanding of construction Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices is preferred. Excellent English verbal and written skills Personal Discipline Excellent organizational skills Excellent personal presentation and manners Adaptability
