Architectural Draftsman and Project Manager TDC Architecture Boca Raton, FL 33434 • Hybrid work Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager to lead and oversee various architectural projects from start to finish. This position is for a work-from-home independent contractor with flexible hours available. Occasional on-site visits will be required to document existing conditions and produce progress reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and communication skills. This role requires collaboration with clients, engineers, and design teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. Previous experience is not required. Duties Researching zoning and building codes, contacting building officials and answering building department comments. On-site documentation of existing conditions. This includes sketching the layout, taking dimensions, and photos/videos of the space. Manage all phases of architectural projects, including the initial site visit, design development and construction drawings. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Drafting shall be done on AutoCAD for design presentations and construction documents. Prepare reports and presentations for job status and updates. Skills The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: AutoCAD, required. Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, preferred. Microsoft Office Word, required. Candidates should also possess strong leadership abilities, time-management skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a passion for innovative architectural solutions.
