Overview of Position :

In this role, you’ll support the production of high-quality construction documents and design development for custom residential homes, You’ll thrive in this role if you have a passion for residential architecture, are fluent in AutoCAD and Revit, and are energized by a high-accountability, process-driven culture that values craftsmanship and heroic teamwork. Expectations:

Project due diligence. Create design development and construction documents for luxury homes with high level of detail with minimal supervision. Creating construction details. Provide expert residential building and FEMA code support to the team. Shop drawing review, including, but not limited to, trusses, doors and windows, cabinets, specialty products. Coordination with engineers, structural, civil, and MEP as necessary. Create site and grading plans. Communicate with team and clients for project plans and timelines. Assist with creating project schedules. Assist with final review of project phases.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

7 years of experience in the residential/custom industry, minimum last 5 years in Florida Degree in Architecture or Construction Management preferred Knowledge of flood zone construction requirements, including FEMA regulations and coastal building standards. Demonstrated ability to independently produce complete construction documents and high-level architectural details with minimal supervision. Capable of transforming schematic designs into fully detailed construction documents with limited direction. Understanding of the construction process and anticipating issues that may happen in the field. Knowledge of everything necessary to build a home. Skilled in developing high-level architectural details independently . Understands structure and understands what the structural engineer is drawing.
