Job Description
Senior Drafter Forest Park, GA System One is currently seeking a Senior Drafter on a 3 year contract position located in Forest Park, GA.
Drafter Responsibilities:
Lead effort to develop 2D and 3D CAD models and/or 2D drawings based on information provided by designers and engineers. Revise existing 2D drawings to support plant retrofit projects. Lead plant-site walkdowns to obtain field data and dimensional information for design purposes.
Drafter Requirements:
10+ years of drafting experience. An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred. Experience using CAD software and design tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards. Ability to lead a small and medium sized project. Commitment to quality, safety, and design excellence. Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors. Familiar with SCS Line Design processes and procedures. Previous SCS Line Design experience in FPK is highly preferred.
