Sitework Engineer 2 J ob

1 Year Hybrid (4 days on-site — 1 day remote)

Requirements:

4-7 years of relevant sitework engineering experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities:

Provide sitework engineering design services and field support Prepare engineering designs and calculations Conduct site walk-downs Develop cost estimates and material takeoffs Provide schedule and staffing input for projects Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously Apply strong technical writing and Microsoft Office skills on a daily basis

Required Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of environmental regulations, including: Erosion control best management practices (BMPs) Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA-EPD) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Ability to develop: Scope definitions Project schedules Material takeoffs Cost estimates Coordination with multidisciplinary teams to produce design documents Strong knowledge or certification in: Erosion and sediment control Stormwater drainage and hydrology design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for sitework design Prior experience in civil sitework construction is a plus Working knowledge of sitework design principles, with the ability to produce accurate grading plan sets Strong technical writing and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to build effective relationships with: Internal stakeholders (project management, construction, maintenance, and design engineering staff) External stakeholders (architects, contractors, and vendors) Eight Eleven Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
