Designer Grooms Office Environments – 4.7 Springfield, MO Job Details Full-time From $35,000 a year 3 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications AutoCAD Space planning Interior design experience (3-5 years) Interior design CAD design (engineering design task) Interior design experience (1-2 years) Mid-level Interior Design Canva Bachelor’s degree Software development Associate’s degree 2 years Communication skills Full Job Description Description Self-starter who is highly motivated, flexible, and able to multi-task to meet deadlines Works well in a cross-functional team environment, exhibiting exceptional communication skills Skilled and efficient in space planning utilization in AutoCAD and CET Experience with and ability to utilize CET design software Development of color and material presentations, both electronic (via Canva) and physical Knowledge of Groom’s product offerings and product positioning Communicate with vendors to determine pricing, discounts, etc. Field verification and measurement of site conditions Basic understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and electrical/data requirements applied to a project Active and thoughtful participation in client interactions and programming sessions Ability to understand and read construction documents Qualifications Graduate of a four-year program or equivalent work experience with a two-year degree with a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Interior Design Minimum of two years practical experience in commercial furniture design and planning Experience working with Herman Miller and/or Knoll products preferred Experience working on design projects for the healthcare industry preferred
