In this entry level civil engineering role, we are looking forindividuals who will help foster our mission that All People ShouldLive in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities! The majorityof your time will be spent assisting project managers and projectengineers in design and construction phase activities on Municipalprojects. This position is open to December 2024, May 2025graduates or an experienced EIT with 1-3 years of experience.

What You Will Be Doing:

Assist Project Engineers with design and construction phaseactivities on projects Perform basic design computations, preliminary layout anddesign, research and prepare rough drafts of preliminary reportsand feasibility studies Assist with project plans and specifications, preparing costand quantity take-off estimates Construction observation activities may include performingconstruction staking, performing construction administration dutiessuch as documenting activities, measuring and testing, providinggeneral oversight, and interacting with contractors,sub-contractors, residents and City staff.

What We Are LookingFor:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accreditedcollege Certified Engineer-in-Training or able to obtain within 12months of hire Prior experience in either infrastructure design and/orconstruction observation Working knowledge and skills in CAD and design software.(i.e.

AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation) Requires frequent travel during construction season Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilitiesand job sites may be required
