About Frazier Home Design At Frazier Home Design, we don’t just draw plans-we design homes that are both timeless and tailored. Since 2007, our studio has been dedicated to creating high-end custom homes that reflect thoughtful design, precise detail, and a deep understanding of how people live. We’re a small, close-knit team based in Raleigh, NC, and we’re looking for a passionate Residential Drafter who’s eager to learn, grow, and contribute to projects from the ground up. If you care about great proportions, crave design challenges, and love the world of residential architecture, you might be a perfect fit.

What You’ll Do Produce Technical Drawings:

Develop detailed, buildable construction documents with clarity and consistency.

Support Design Development:

Assist project managers and senior designers in refining plans and solving design issues.

Render and Visualize:

Create 3D models and renderings to help bring designs to life for clients and the team.

Redline Revisions:

Execute redline markups and updates with speed and accuracy.

Stay Organized:

Keep drawing sets, models, and files clean and up to date while managing multiple active projects. What We’re Looking For 1-2 years of relevant drafting or residential design experience. A degree in Architecture or a related field is a plus, but not required if you have hands-on experience and a strong portfolio. A genuine passion for residential architecture and a desire to understand the craft of home design. Eagerness to learn and a coachable attitude, you’re open to feedback, willing to start with the basics, and excited to grow. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced studio. Proficiency in drafting software; BIM experience preferred (especially ArchiCAD or Revit).
