Associate Architect (West New York, NJ), F/T; $87,589/year; Develop Building Information Modeling (BIM) for architectural projects, including multi-level housing structures that require incorporating shared amenities, private living spaces, and community areas into the design. Prepare architectural designs and supporting documents in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by local government agencies, detailing design specifications, structural requirements, materials and equipment selections for multi-level housing structures. Achieve regulatory compliance with local zoning laws, fire safety, and environmental regulations by conducting code analysis and incorporating required safety features, such as fire exits, sprinkler systems, and soundproofing between units to the design. Req. master’s degree in architecture or related, plus 12month exp. in preparing architectural designs and supporting documents in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by local government agencies, detailing design specifications, structural requirements, materials and equipment selections for multi-level housing structures. •Must have passed the Architect Registration Examination (ARE).
