The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of architectural principles. You will be responsible for developing innovative designs, collaborating with clients, and overseeing projects from conception through to completion. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all projects meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Responsibilities Develop architectural designs and plans based on client requirements and project specifications. Utilize software tools such as Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed drawings and visualizations. Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive project development. Negotiate project terms with clients and stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Oversee the renovation and construction processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. Use Grasshopper for parametric design solutions to enhance project efficiency. Prepare presentations for clients showcasing design concepts using Bluebeam for document management. Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise during the building phase. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or in the process of obtaining one Experience Estimating Jobs 5 years of experience in general contracting estimating Knowledge of the construction business is desirable Must be able to work in a well-lit finished basement. Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Proficiency in design software including Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Grasshopper, and Bluebeam. Strong understanding of interior design principles is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with clients and contractors. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
