Architectural Designer Soleil NY Port Washington, NY 11050 Job Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate concepts into innovative architectural solutions. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. As an Architectural Designer, you will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive designs that meet project specifications. Responsibilities Develop architectural designs and schematics using software tools such as CAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and ArchiCAD. Create detailed drawings and models that accurately represent design concepts. Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs align with client needs and regulatory requirements. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility. Prepare presentations for clients that effectively communicate design ideas. Utilize Grasshopper for parametric design solutions when applicable. Work on interior design elements to enhance the overall functionality and aesthetics of spaces. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field is preferred. Proficiency in architectural design software including CAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Grasshopper, and ArchiCAD. Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and team members. Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail in design execution. Experience in interior design is a plus but not required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
