COOKFOX Architects is seeking a creative Architectural Visualization Specialist with excellent design and technical skills to join our NYC studio. Our visualization team works collaboratively and in-person in support of our architectural design teams to create compelling renderings as part of a project’s visual narrative for decision making, design inspiration and publicity. Candidates should have demonstrated ability in 3D graphics, production of high-quality renderings and an ability to communicate architectural concepts. Members of our visualization team must be highly organized and able to support multiple design teams. Continuous learning, experimentation and enthusiastic knowledge sharing are fundamental to this role and to our studio culture.

Qualifications and skills:

Architectural design education
Professional experience in an architectural design firm a plus
Strong design portfolio demonstrating knowledge of architectural visualization, graphic presentation, layout and information design
Familiarity with 3D Studio Max modeling and V-Ray rendering.
Strong post-production skills in Photoshop
Working knowledge of Revit and Rhino software
Excellent organization skills and proactive attitude
Motivated, energetic, and curious
Comfort working in a fast paced, rigorous, and collaborative team environment Primary responsibilities include: Collaborating closely with project and leadership teams in structuring the design direction of weekly presentation materials and narrative illustration.
Generation of design ideas.
Production of 3D visualizations (from concept diagrams to high quality renderings) for presentation to various groups: clients, consultants, agencies, public audiences.
Research into visualization methods
This position is an in-person role based in our NYC Studio. We believe that the best design emerges from the collective work of a diverse community of designers.
