Job Description
Associate, F/T sought by Lehman Smith & McLeish PLLC. (New York, NY) to Work in the ongoing development of a philosophical approach to Architectural/ Interior design and planning for LSM and apply the approach to each project. Develop conceptual designs; Implement concept design to design development. Prepare architectural specifications. Req.: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Architectural Design, Architecture in Urban Design, Interior Design or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Associate-related occupation. 72 months of experience in the following: REVIT and associated BIM (Building Information Modeling). Utilizing computer software programs including Rhino for two and three dimension design, contract drawings and modeling. Utilizing Microsoft Suite programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for project documentation including memos, budgets, and design and construction administration activities. Utilizing Photoshop and Adobe for design presentation preparation, shop drawing review and other construction administration activities. Database programming, furniture inventory, and specification software. Preparing architectural documents. Utilizing cloud-based construction management platforms including. Procore for the tracking and issuance of construction administration. Position requires domestic and international travel up to 20%.
